無と婉麗 (Mu and Enrei – Nothingness and Eros)
The White Project began with a solo trip to Venice, Italy last February. Living in a foreign country and traveling to another expanded the boundaries of my existence. In the deep of night, feelings of loneliness and independence, fragility and strength intertwined.
新しい世界は凄く楽しい、自分を見失わないようにこうしてるような気もする。繋ぎ止めるために。
自分は人間的には変わらないんだなと、ふと気を抜くと無になって、何のために…となる時もある、でも今はそれが通り過ぎるのを知ってるから、悩まずに、人に相談するのもせずに生活ができるようになった───無と隣り合わせなのかもしれない
The new world is fun, but it feels like I’m doing this to not lose myself. To hold on. I realize that I haven’t changed as a person; sometimes, when I let my guard down, I become nothing and wonder why I’m doing this… but now I know that it will pass, so I can live without worrying and talking to others.───Maybe I always exist with nothingness.
Designs
Gips Trench Coat
This piece consists of two layers: trench coat made from waxed linen and another layer made from gips (plaster). The buttons are fixtures.
Gips Lingerie
The gips thins over time, transforming into delicate lingerie pieces.
Architectural Bag
Inspired by metal fences and barbed wire.
